Imagine: you have made the decision and you would like to work with a Nanny or a Family Assistant. But how do you go about it? Who would suit your family and what can she do for you? At The Family Assistant we have a thorough step by step plan for this. Together we find the perfect match!
The first introductory meeting is often by phone. During this call we explore together what TFA can do for you. You can ask all your questions and we will ask ours too. After the call we send you more information by email.
During a personal intake meeting we go deeper into your needs and wishes. We create a profile that is as complete as possible and compare it with the available candidates in our pool. In consultation with them, we send you their CVs, which we then go through together.
You let us know which candidates you would like to meet. TFA schedules the interviews at a time, place and date you suggest. After the interviews we contact you to hear which candidates made the best impression.
The trial day is the next important step in the process. A Nanny or Family Assistant is close to her employer’s private life, so a good connection is essential. During this trial day it becomes truly clear whether there is a connection: with the parents, but also with the children! In the third meeting or after the trial day, the terms of employment can be discussed with the candidate.
Have you found the perfect Nanny or Family Assistant? If so, you can offer her an employment contract. Of course TFA can assist in drawing this up and advise you on matters that are important for you as an employer.
Two weeks after the contract starts, we contact you and the Nanny or Family Assistant for an evaluation, and to see whether any information or extra support is needed. We do this again after 6 weeks, 4 months and 10 months. And of course you can always contact us in between!
