Since 2020, The Family Assistant has been matching the most professional, reliable and experienced Nannies and Family Assistants with a wide variety of families. Naomi Plijnaar, Founder of TFA, started The Family Assistant with one main goal: to give as many ambitious women and men as possible the opportunity to combine a career with a stress free family life. A Nanny or Family Assistant is someone who makes sure you can focus fully on your work while everything at home runs perfectly, so that after work you can enjoy more quality time with your family.

What drives us
My vision for TFA has been shaped by years of experience on both sides. After ten years as a Nanny and later as a Family Assistant, I know the substance, the responsibility and the value of this profession. As an entrepreneur and a mother of three, I know from my own experience how much it means to have someone at home you can trust completely.
I believe the right person in your home brings more than calm. It brings trust, continuity and the space to grow, both as a family and in your career.
