Our way of working for parents

Our Nannies and Family Assistants are close to the private lives of parents and their families. That is why a good connection is essential.

We take the entire selection and screening process off your hands.

How do we match our Nannies and Family Assistants with families? What does the application process look like? And how are Nannies and Family Assistants screened? Below you will find a detailed explanation of how we work.

  1. First contact and intake

During an introductory phone call, we explore what we can do for your family. If you are interested, we will email you our information and terms and conditions without obligation, and schedule an intake meeting at a time that suits you.

  2. Search assignment and proposals

Once the search assignment has been confirmed, we will email you the CVs within six weeks, including a short description, a salary indication and the date on which the candidates can start.

  3. Interviews and trial day

TFA schedules the interviews with the selected candidates. After the interviews we evaluate together, and you let us know which candidates you would like to invite for a trial day. Do you feel a definite connection with one of the Family Assistants or Nannies? Let’s go! We will then continue the process.

  4. Terms of employment, contract and payment

Once the collaboration and terms of employment have been agreed, you offer the Family Assistant or Nanny the employment contract. We are happy to help you draw this up if you wish. As soon as the contract has been signed by both parties, we send the placement invoice.

  5. Evaluation of the collaboration

One week after the start of the contract, we contact you and the Family Assistant or Nanny. We provide coaching where needed. After 3 weeks, 6 months and 10 months we hold another evaluation. You are always welcome to contact us in between. We are here for you!
