Job Opening | Professional Nanny (20 hours) | Noordwijk (eventually in the Amsterdam area)

We are looking for an experienced and caring nanny for an internationally-minded family who will care for their child with attention, calmness, and professionalism. This is a long-term, full-time position within a family that values quality, development, and respectful communication.

As a nanny, you will be responsible for the daily care and guidance of an energetic and eager-to-learn boy who is almost 2 years old. He has a strong personality, is sociable, and bonds easily with familiar faces. He is curious, a quick learner, and loves to explore, both indoors and outdoors. Activities might include playing together, visiting museums, spending time in nature, and encouraging his interest in animals and vehicles.

You know how to set boundaries in a calm and loving way while also challenging him to grow. You connect with his world and create a safe, structured environment where he can thrive.

Within the family, we value a parenting style inspired by Montessori, combined with clear structure and routine. We place a strong emphasis on independence, language development, and building self-confidence.

's Family Situation This is a divorced family, with the mother primarily working from home (preferring to give the nanny and the young boy space during the workday). The father lives in Amsterdam, and there is an older half-brother who is a regular part of family life, as well as a very involved grandmother.

The family leads an active lifestyle and places great importance on healthy, organic food and high-quality choices in their daily lives. The household also employs a housekeeper.

Practical Information

• Location: Noordwijk (with a future move to the Amsterdam area)

• Working days: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 20 hours per week
  The position is a team role, working alongside another TFA Nanny, with a 3-to-2 day split.
• Live-out position
• Salary range: €3,500 – €4,500 gross per month (depending on experience)
• Occasionally available for evenings/weekends
• Willingness to travel during vacations
