Nanny | Wassenaar

Are you a dedicated and patient nanny who finds joy in supporting children as they grow? We are seeking an experienced nanny with a strong educational background and proven experience in homework assistance for a warm and welcoming family in Wassenaar with four boys (ages 2 to 9). Start date: September 1, 2026.

About the family
The family lives in Wassenaar and consists of four active boys, born in 2016, 2017, 2020, and 2023. The mother is looking for a full-time, reliable nanny who can provide structure and calm and who will not only care for the children but also encourage them in their learning process. The focus is on the afternoon and evening hours after school.

What does a nanny do?
As a nanny in this family, you are responsible for:

• Picking up the kids from school
• Intensive homework help and support with learning processes
• Additional support for children who need structure to help them learn and concentrate (experience with ADHD and dyslexia is a plus)
• Transportation to after-school activities such as horseback riding, rugby, and swimming
• Helping with the evening routine and putting the children to bed
• Support for mothers in daily family care
• Light housekeeping tasks

What do we expect from the nanny?

• At least 3 years of experience as a nanny or in a similar role
• Proven experience in homework assistance
• Strong teaching skills: you set clear boundaries and are consistent
• Knowledge of or experience with ADHD and/or dyslexia
• A background in education or childcare is a plus
• Hands-on, proactive, and flexible
• Good command of the Dutch language
• Holds a Class B driver's license

Working hours

• Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 12:00 - 7:00 p.m.
• Total: 30 hours per week, spread over 3 to 4 days
• Any remaining hours are carried over for occasional weekends or school holidays
• Times are flexible

What do we offer?

• Salary: €3,500 – €4,500 gross per month (based on a 40-hour workweek), depending on experience and education
• A permanent, long-term part-time position as a nanny (30 hours/week)
