Nanny I The Hague

We are seeking an experienced, caring, and independent nanny for a warm, internationally-minded family in The Hague who is eager to play a meaningful and long-term role in the lives of three young girls. This is a full-time position within a dynamic household where trust, flexibility, and a natural rapport are key.

The family is looking for a dedicated professional who brings calm, structure, and warmth, can adapt easily to a busy family life, and enjoys flowing with the family’s rhythm. Someone who is confident, capable of making decisions independently, and at the same time gentle, loving, and intuitive with the children.

Although help around the house is appreciated, the children always come first in this role. The family is primarily looking for someone who is exceptionally good with children and who, over time, wants to become a trusted, stable, and important presence in their lives.

About the family
The family consists of three girls aged 3, 6, and 9. All three have their own unique personalities, energy levels, and needs.

The family describes itself as warm, enterprising, and “go-with-the-flow.” Both parents have demanding careers and are looking for someone who can truly support them in the day-to-day care of their children. The family values open communication, a high degree of freedom, and mutual trust. The nanny is explicitly viewed as a valuable addition to the family and as a co-parent. The girls attend the Lycée Français and are growing up in an international, multilingual environment. The family values cultural openness and believes it is important for the children to develop within an international context.

The position
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day care of the children and for maintaining a calm, structured, and organized environment within the family. You will supervise the children throughout the day, organize activities, and ensure that everything runs smoothly for them.

The work includes, among other things:

• Caring for, guiding, and encouraging the children
• Providing support during the morning routine and helping children transition to school
• Pick up children from school and accompany them to their activities
• Organizing playdates and fun activities
• Support with daily routines
• Grocery shopping and cooking for the family
• Establishing a routine for the children within the household
• Thinking proactively and acting independently within the dynamics of the family

Although assistance with household chores is appreciated, the primary focus of this role is on the children’s well-being, development, and daily care.

We also appreciate it if you can be flexible during holidays and occasionally travel to destinations such as Miami, Morocco, or winter sports destinations.

Practical Information

• Hours: approximately 40 hours per week
• Working days: Monday through Friday
• The work is divided between the morning (assisting with the morning routine and getting the children ready for school) and the afternoon/early evening (after-school care, activities, and the evening routine). The exact details will be determined in consultation.
• Start date: as soon as possible
• Possibility to travel during vacations
• Additional living space is available if desired
• Estimated salary between €3,500 and €4,500 gross per month based on a 40-hour workweek
• Professional guidance and support from TFA
