What are the working conditions of a Nanny through TFA like?

A Nanny is employed on a full-time salaried contract with a family. This is unique, as many Nannies work through the home service arrangement. If you are employed by the employer you are socially insured and the family pays employer taxes for you. You also get paid when you are sick, for example, and are entitled to vacation days and vacation pay. You get a contract for a fixed number of hours with a minimum of 30 hours per week. This makes a job as a Nanny a unique combination of freedom, independence and responsibilities. 

What is the salary if I become a Nanny through TFA?

A Nanny's salary is usually higher than the average in this industry. This requires flexibility and dedication to one family. We work on a private basis, and the employer offers you an employment contract. The salary indication is between €2,700 to €5,000 per month (based on education level and experience).

Training and coaching during your career as a Nanny

Our Nannies are given access to the TFA Academy after a positive interview and after screening of references, VOG, diplomas and first aid. Here you will find different modules with classes on topics such as parenting, child development, etiquette, caregiving and family management. We also hold regular (live) master classes, where you can connect with other Nannies and exchange experiences.
